The ground rules.

01Using this site

By using the AUSA website, buying a ticket, or booking transport, you agree to these terms. They’re written to be fair to students and to keep events and trips running smoothly. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

02Event tickets

• Tickets are for registered students of the university unless an event says otherwise. You may be asked to show your student ID at the door.
• Each ticket admits the number of people stated on it. Tickets can’t be resold for profit.
• Tickets are non-refundable, except when AUSA cancels or reschedules the event. You can transfer a ticket to another student.
• We may refuse entry, or ask someone to leave, for unsafe or disrespectful behaviour. No refund is due in that case.
• Event details such as times, line-ups, and venues can change. We’ll update the event page and contact ticket holders about anything major.

03Transport bookings

• Be at the pickup point at least 30 minutes before departure. Buses can’t wait for late passengers.
• Your seat is booked in your name and matric number and can’t be transferred without contacting us.
• Departure times may shift because of weather, traffic, or safety concerns. We’ll message you if that happens.
• Follow the driver’s and AUSA officers’ instructions during the trip.

04Payments & refunds

Prices are shown in Naira and include any fees, unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment provider. When you can get your money back is explained in our Refund Policy.

05Polls, votes & feedback

One vote per person, please. We may remove votes that look automated or duplicated, and the result announced by AUSA is final. When you send feedback, keep it honest and respectful. We may not act on messages that are abusive, threatening, or clearly false.

06Photos & content

We take photos and videos at AUSA events and may publish them on this site and our channels. If you’d like a photo of you taken down, email [email protected] with a link to it and we’ll remove it. The AUSA name, logo, and site content belong to AUSA and shouldn’t be reused without permission.

07Our responsibility

We work hard to keep information on the site accurate, but dates and details can change. We’re not responsible for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Nigerian law.

08Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
